Nelly certainly did not want them to get hooked, he made his followers, from being a wordsmith with a brilliant nursery rhyme rap that literally took over half of the last decade, he was more than just words, he's also a man of action and honor.
While others would not get on television arguing the woes and needs of our black community, or join the movement of street protest, chanting words of freedom, Nelly chooses to speak his words of support to the movement #BlackLivesMatter by his actions.
As quiet as it kept, Nelly sent two sons to college every year for the last 10 years. The "Country Grammar" rapper obviously knew it was going to take more than a country grammar for a young child to be truly successful in US and the world.
It will require serious education. Nelly founded another scholarship program in St. Louis in honor of the slain teenager Michael Brown, who finished blood sparked, an entire movement throughout Black America.
We give all our respect for celebrities like Nelly, LeBron James, and J Cole who do things that make real difference with the lives of many people. We hope that other celebrities will use their power of influence and their wealth to do good acts to help and support others. We need you now. Act accordingly. Be a good model to your followers!
